Testimonials on our Virtual Career Fairs

FEEDBACK AND COMMENTS on Virtual Career Fairs hosted by acareerforme.co.uk -

"We used ‘A Career For Me’ to host our Virtual Global Careers Fair in 2014 and we will definitely use them again. The staff are very helpful and quick to respond to any query. They also produce very useful stats at the end. In summary the fair was a success amongst staff and students – a pilot project that we hope will become an annual event!” Lisa-Rose Moller, University of East Anglia

“We had considered running a virtual fair for a number of years but until we found A Career For Me we didn’t think it was feasible. Their model worked well for us and the service and professionalism was exceptional throughout. Both the Universities of Brighton and Sussex were delighted with the results and we’ll certainly be looking to hold a similar event next year.” Alex Webb, University of Brighton

"acareerforme were thoroughly professional from start to finish and we were delighted with the exceptional level of service we received. This allowed us to focus our efforts on promoting the fair to exhibitors, processing bookings and marketing to students. Once we submitted exhibitor copy acareerforme would take typically take no more than 24 hours to build a stand and sometimes as little as 2 hours. This in turn allowed us to take later bookings with confidence. The stats provided day by day and at the end of the fair were very helpful and have allowed us to refine our virtual fair strategy for next year. From the user perspective students welcomed the easy to use navigation system and the ability to drill down to relevant content quickly. All in all a very successful experience running a virtual careers fair using acareerforme." Dominic Prosser, University of Exeter.

‘acareerforme have proved that we made the correct decision in choosing them for our Online Fair. They remained professional in all our dealings and provided high levels of service - this allowed us to focus our time and efforts on promoting the fair to employers (potential exhibitors) and marketing to students.’ Mark Collins, Oaklands College

"I really liked the expandable sector menus to view the companies in each sector. The site was easy to navigate." Student Feedback.

"It was a useful place to start looking for jobs. The website was easy to use and flows well and I was able to access areas I was looking for easily." Student Feedback.

"The technical aspects of the Fair were excellent and we hope that we will be invited to participate in similar events in the future." Employer Feedback

"A Career for Me have been supporting a project I am co-ordinating over the last 6 months. While my requirements were not typical of the work they do as it’s based around online graduate recruitment rather than a Careers Fair their service has been excellent. Julian talked through a range of options with me and worked hard to find a web based solution that would be appropriate. The web site he designed has played a key part in the success of the project. Posting vacancies and updates on the site is a quick and easy process and the regular reporting stats on usage have been extremely helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending Julian and A Career for Me, it’s been a constructive and positive experience." Sue Holton, Oxford Brookes University.

"A Career for Me hosted our Virtual Jobs Fair 2010. The team at ‘acareerforme’ were very helpful and made the set-up and registration process simple for both us as fair organisers and the employers exhibiting. The support we received over the duration of the fair was excellent and the daily analytics updates were particularly useful. We had in excess of 2,000 visitors over a 3 week period with excellent feedback received from exhibitors and visitors. We would certainly consider running another Virtual Jobs Fair with 'acareerforme' in the future. " The Careers & Employability Service at Anglia Ruskin University

"The Virtual Careers Fair has proved to be a useful tool for looking at key employers in chosen industries, and is an innovative way of providing students with access to this information". Student, Anglia Ruskin University

"In finding a job I have found this site very useful as it has recent jobs and relevant advice all in one area. this saves the messing about looking at one seperate page after another. nice one xxxx". Student, Anglia Ruskin University

"As part of National Student Employment Week, the National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES) decided to run a virtual week for all NASES HE and FE Employment services. This was the first time NASES had organised a virtual fair and, although there was scepticism at the beginning, acareerforme made the process really easy. We had over 5,000 visits over a 2 week period for our Fair which is excellent. Feedback has been very positive from NASES members, exhibitors and students and we would certainly consider running another virtual fair in the future". National Association of Student Employment Services. Organiser of the 2010 NSEW Virtual Fair

“The Job Zone, at the University of Birmingham Guild of Students, trialled a Virtual Summer Jobs Fair in June 2010, using acareerforme. This followed being involved in a successful national student Virtual Jobs Fair as part of NASES National Student Employment Week, in February of this year. I found Julian to be extremely helpful and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met, and the Fair had the look and branding we were seeking. acareerforme made it easy for our employers to exhibit their information; the service received was fast, and it was easy for users to edit pages, or for acareerforme to do this, if preferred. Julian was always easy to contact if we had any queries. We were particularly pleased with the response we received from our students, which confirmed that a Virtual Fair is something that attracts them (more than a real Fair, as the numbers visiting our Virtual Fair were higher than our physical Jobs Fair). We would definitely consider running a Virtual Fair again, and would be happy to recommend the services of acareerforme for such an event.” University of Birmingham Guild of Students

"I found the fair to be very informative and a smart way of looking for employment. It saves both time and money as I do not have to go out looking for agencies". Student, Anglia Ruskin University

"This is very user friendly and informative. I particularly like being able to visit it when I want". Student, Northumbria University

"Great website, really useful". Student, Anglia Ruskin University
